Trump vs. The World:
Breaking The Chains of The Political Establishment

Nick Paray | nick@thecounterweight.net

Some call it a movement, some call it the apocalypse—either way, the 2016 election seems to be a calling for change— “Yuuuge [sic] change.” Under the hysteria, a wave of contempt brews within the American people for what is generally seen as the establishment forces in the Republican and Democratic parties. For many people, the two parties have become the amorphous will of a disconnected elite political class in the form of polished, predictable politicians.

The nomination of Donald Trump as the Republican candidate, and the rise in popularity of Vermont senator Bernie Sanders confirms that there exists a mandate for political outsiders on the main platform.
However, this anti-establishment faction did not gain enough momentum in the Democratic party to prevent the nomination of the ultimate party insider—Hillary Clinton.

As much support as Donald Trump has gained from his vocal and passionate constituency of Republican voters, his relationship with party leaders has not followed course. Trump is an outsider, and this frightens the Republican party.

Half-hearted endorsements that were later retracted, or ubiquitous disapproval from conservative media confirms one thing—Trump and the elites do not get along. As the establishment grows more wary, the resolve of Trump’s base strengthens.

While Trump’s campaign spits in the face of conventional politics, Clinton has solidified her role as the “elitist-in-chief.”

Her undeniable globalist aspirations are being funded by billionaires like George Soros; banks, like Goldman Sachs; and oppressive middle-eastern countries, like Saudi Arabia. Though her puppeteer donors and the corrupt media try to hide the truth, WikiLeaks and other sites are starting to paint the true picture of this corrupt establishment, for those who are willing to listen.

The media may portray this election as Trump vs. Hillary, but really it’s Trump vs. the world, as he sets out to prove that the crooked establishment is not aligned with the interests of the people.

Trump must fight attacks from the left and the right, as “intellectuals” and party leaders on the right would seemingly rather have a Clinton Administration than to admit defeat to a largely self-made man from Queens, who doesn’t speak as eloquently as them.

The fact that these elites place a greater importance on their ego than on the Supreme Court, trade, and ISIS, indicates that it is time for a change in Washington.

With all odds against him, the outcome of this election will determine if the American people are finally ready to wake up and start Making America Great Again.
